[Case Study] Changes in water quality are a red flag for equipment troubles!
We present a case where fluoride was detected in the results of cold and warm water quality testing, and it was found that there was a refrigerant gas leak following equipment inspection.
During the regular inspection of the facility's water management items, an anomaly was detected. The results of the cold and hot water quality tests showed that the pH value decreased from "7.5→7.0→6.5" over a certain period, and further analysis detected fluoride. It was determined that there was a possibility of refrigerant (freon) contamination, and upon inspecting the equipment, it was found that there was a refrigerant gas leak from the copper tube inside the freezer. [Summary] ■ Issues - An anomaly was detected in the facility's water management items. ■ Solutions - Equipment inspection was conducted. - A refrigerant gas leak from the copper tube inside the freezer was identified. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
